2015’s Wonderwomen: Our 5 Favourite Influential Female Celebs
We love August. It's the perfect time to celebrate Women's Month; honouring the strength and resilience of beautiful females who are able to adapt and survive in a world that is ever-changing. It's a month filled with promise; a time when change is always in the air. Back home in South Africa, the frosty mornings make way for dew-bejeweled grass and newly budding flora. Elsewhere in the world, the heady scent of Autumn hovers delicately in the air, not quite in full force but almost. Mothers, daughters, sisters, friends – the roles women play are varied, and yet somehow we succeed in changing costumes and donning a new persona before curtain call at the start of each new performance in this grand theatrical spectacular we call “Life”. At HQD we have one thing to say: "Rock on soul sisters! You are the fearless, fabulous foundation of all that is good in the world." To celebrate Women’s Day on 9th August, we have compiled a list of our favourite influential celebrity females who make all the superhero-ing seem effortless.
